Abstract: brand is a common phenomenon in our economic life. Why do we need brand? How about our life without brand? The author analyzes and generalizes the effects of brand on purchasers, operators and the country and society from the origin of brand and the difference between brand and trademark. What is certain is that brands, as the mark of job quality of producers and the carrier of the market credit and future profits, enable consumers to distinguish and evaluate products of different producers and bring more ease, wealth and color to our life. In addition, brands are beneficial for improving living standard of people, standardizing market order and realizing the rise of China.
