Title: Based on WTO Rules, Research Chinese Financial Support on Aquatic Product

Abstract: In recent years, more than 40% of fishery products have been fit into the international trade. But when countries carry out “Agreement on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures”, referred to "SCM Agreement", the solution of fisheries subsidies, which is outside “Agreement on Agriculture”, is still blank. This blank will likely to be directly responsible for governments of fisheries export subsidies(financial support). Then it may distort aquatic products international trade. At present, the Doha Round of WTO is no results. WTO system has not been specifically designed for fishing subsidies system. At the FAO fisheries meeting of 2002, cite APEC report that China has fisheries subsidies, which is not conducive to international trade. So does China have these fisheries subsidies? Trough sampling survey data obtained, this article analyses trade-related fisheries subsidies in the main producing areas of China's aquatic products. After international comparison, we can have the conclusion that China’s trade-related fisheries subsidies are in line with WTO requirements and these are not distort international trade of aquatic products.
