Abstract: Family businesses in China are the results of rational choice that the entrepreneurs make according to the social traditions, economic and cultural environment. Family businesses play more and more important roles in economic development. This paper mainly analyzes the human resource allocation in family firm by the method of literature review. First, the meaning of family business is defined; second, the characteristics of human resources allocation in family business are studied; and then the problems of the human resources allocation in family business are raised which includes the problems in both human resources system itself and the relevant supporting system; Finally the measures to resolve those problems are proposed, which can direct the practice of the human resources allocation in family business.
