Abstract:
In this study, we investigate the employee's impression management and the relation between impression management behavior and performance. Results suggest that the style of the impression management of different employee in sex, length of service and the position is different; the relation between impression management and self-evaluated task performance is significant, the relation between impression management and self- evaluated context performance and superiors assess performance is not significant. Empirical implications are discussed.
