Abstract: |
This study explored the relationship between state affect and justice judgment using a scenario based experiment. Seven scenarios were designed representing different levels of distributive outcomes (equal vs. better vs. worse vs. unknown) and procedures (voice vs. no voice vs. implicit no voice). A total of 126 participants randomly assigned to positive or negative affect conditions made justice judgments on those scenarios. Results showed that state affect and distributive outcomes had a significant interactive effect on justice judgments, as did state affect and distributive procedures.
