Abstract: |
Research in leadership theory, as an important topic in the field of organization and management research, has yielded fruitful findings, whereas studies focusing on micro-mechanism are relatively scarce.Taking charismatic leadership as an example, this paper firstly reviews the charismatic leadership research in Western contexts, and then offer some theoretical insights based on multiple perspectives, psychological empowerment,human nature and organizational climate. We attempt to explore the mechanism of charismatic leadership and to provide some ideas and inspiration for future research.
