By using the CCR Model of data envelopment analysis, this paper analyzed the operating performance
of 17 Chinacoal listed enterprises based on the data from their recent two years’ annual reports. Generally, operating performance of 17Chinacoal listed enterprises from 2009 to 2010 is good. The results show that serious idle capital and redundant staff that no realize reasonable allocation of resources are the main reason of poor operating performance.
