Abstract: |
By establishing a financial performance evaluation system for China’s city commercial bank with a sample of 41, this paper made an empirical research on the financial performance of the banks in 2009. Applying the method of factor analysis of statistical software SPSS17.0, four aspects --- profitability, safety, fluidity, growth---were clearly analyzed. The findings show that the standard of the overall financial performance of city commercial banks was quite low. It is not the fluidity but the safety ability plays the important role in the financial performance comprehensive assessment. In this regard, suggestions to promote financial performance of china’s city commercial banks are put forward.
