Abstract: Mainland organizational researchers have largely ignored the study of employee cooperative behavior. Based on social identity theory. We discuss cooperative behavior of team member in Chinese context hoping to discuss team identification as the antecedent and the boundary between them. In a survey of 271staff. We find that team identification correlate with cooperative behavior positively, and task interdependence positively moderated the relationship between team identification and cooperative behavior. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed.
