Abstract: The quality of time-hopping sequences, to a great extent, decides the features of the time-hopping communication systems. A new method of time-hopping code based on chaotic characteristic is put forward by the way of the non-linear congruential operation. The simulation results show that the perfect time- hopping sequences can be gained by this method. The large number of the codes and good correlation property can accommodate the demand of the system. And the proposed method prolongs the period of the time-hopping sequences effectively. The design thought of the time-hopping code will be expanded, and the reference meaning to the design of time-hopping code can be gained in this paper.
