Abstract: It analyzes the necessity of unified authentication and centralized authority, introduces the clas- sification method of Single Sign-On (SSO) based on scripts and tickets. It also describes the deployment manner of every kind of SSO mode based on broker, proxy and gateway, compares their merits & short- comings. System manager can select corresponding SSO mode to do centralized authority and unified au- thentication to meet the actual security demands according to the network application architecture.
