Abstract:	In this paper, we seek for a new parameter choice scheme for numerical derivative under the modified Tikhonov regularization. Compared with the previous result, our analysis is based on the C-norm which is more important in practice. The method has been established in Section 2 and the numerical examples in Section 3 show that our principle really identifies the irregular points.
