Abstract: State patrol of oil well pumping unit distributes different areas wastes a lot of manpower and material resources. This paper introduces a new design of automatic patrol system based on GSM Long-distance Transmission technology. The equipment selection and composition principle of computer monitor system are also introduced. These discussions emphasize on hardware and software design. Hardware scheme includes ADAM5000/485 distributes data acquisition module, GSM modem module and wireless transmission module. The practice shows that the system can save a lot of time and energy with high accuracy.
