Abstract: In the monitoring systems of sulfide ores self-fire, data collector is the core component of its equipment. A new scheme of general data collector is proposed, which is based on the S3C2410 chip of Samsung Group. It has 16 AI channel, 32 DI/O channel, and 8-inch true color LCD. This paper introduced mainly the hardware design and software design of data collector. Hardware design included the design of ARM9 CPU module,LCD module, and I/O channel module. The experiment results indicate that the new general data collector can be easily used and developed. It provides an integrated hardware and software solution to various embedded system.
