Abstract: Orthomorphic permutations have important application in the design of cryptosystems. Based on the one to one corresponding relationship between orthomorphic permutations and transversal of orthomorphic Latin square, the construction issue for orthomorphic permutations is studied, and a new construction method is proposed to construct a -bit orthomorphic permutation from a -bit linear one where .The method extends to obtain transversals of Latin square (n ?1 n n ? 1 n 1 A ? by employing two special transversal of affine orthomorphic Latin square n A .The Construction and Enumeration of orthomorphic permutations is proved.
