Abstract: In this paper we present simulated data for the selection and design of a matching stub suitable for satellite communications. A metal waveguide is filled with Rexolite? dielectric to reduce the physical size and prevent moisture ingress. Four stub designs are compared by evaluating their S11 parameters over the concerned frequency range.
