Abstract: |
The development and application of Wiki provides us a new model for the construction of knowledge sharing system and offers an opportunity to libraries promoting their knowledge services. Firstly this paper elaborates the connotation of library knowledge sharing, analyzes four obstacles in the concrete practices. Then the paper briefly introduces the definition of Wiki, characteristics as well as its application in the library, discusses three major advantages that Wiki used in library knowledge sharing. Finally, it emphases on analyzing the demand and construction of Wiki-based knowledge sharing system, and implementation of four modules, with the example of the design of AIB College library’s knowledge sharing room.
