Abstract: Knowledge Management Maturity Model (KMMM) is used for assessing the level of enterprise Knowledge Management capability as well as providing methods for continuously improving by benchmarking. This paper firstly reviews the development of knowledge management maturity model, then studies several overseas models and at last, analyzes some problems about the application of knowledge management maturity model in local firms through generalizing the state of the art of the application of KMMM in local firms.
