Abstract: According to the recent profile and characteristics of Ningxia and Inner Mongolia, the basic principles and the operational methods are investigated of ice protection dispatching in the reach. In response to sudden danger ice condition, the scheduling measures are offered of Liujiaxia Reservoir and Wanjiazhai Reservoir; the operational conditions of flood diversion area are put forward, and provide reference to emergency ice schedule, such as network failures, dike breach and other unexpected dangers.
