Abstract: This paper elaborated the Miaoling tunnel wall rock distortion rule, and assessed the cavitiesstability, Through on-site investigation, collecting and sorting the engineering geological data, constructiontechnology, rock deformation monitoring data, Deformation of the wall rock is analysised from theperspectives of time and space. The results show that the steps method construction used in tunnel and designof initial support parameter is reasonable to meet the construction safety and cavity stability, further get withthe tunnel rock deformation with time and space, found the key control cavities stability, and for other similarengineering control cavities stability accumulated experience..
