Abstract: In China, the development of geological work in a certain degree could be due to the reform on Geological Exploration Industry. To enhance the geological work, our government has carried out the special project of geological survey since 1999, which aimed to improve the public, foundational and strategic status of geological work. Through collecting the capital investment of geological survey over a decade and comparing the situation of plan and the completion, analyzing from perspectives of different structures, we can find some existing problems and the corresponding conclusions, and then put forward some rationalization proposals on this basis.
