On the background of promoting new socialist countryside construction, strengthening and improving the sports human resource management of countryside are the needs of resolving “san nong” problem to realize an overall well-off society, developing sports economy of countryside and restructuring sports industry of countryside. In current China, the main problems existing in developing countryside sports human resource include managers’ errors in ideology, the poor investment of developing countryside sports human resource, rare sports population and social sports instructor as well as not yet formed training system of countryside sports human resource, etc. Therefore, it is essential to reshape the concept of developing countryside sports human resource, to increase the support and investment of government, to perfect the training system of countryside human resource, to introduce the communicative system of countryside human resource and to strengthen the encouraging and social guarantee mechanism of countryside sports human resource.
