Abstract: In the paper, an improved model is established based on the previous Origin-Destination (OD) model which is often used in the traffic flow programs. OD transition probability matrix is calculated with passenger data of a one-way bus to predict the law of passenger travel. As passengers travel in line is subject to the principle of maximum entropy, Equations are established by partial derivative function equal zeros in extreme points, the formula of maximum entropy is obtained. Then the transitional probability matrix about line 1 is calculated by the MATLAB programs according to the investigation data which has been collected on Saturday or Sunday. The data includes the number of people who get on or down every bus station in one day, to demonstrate the validity of algorithm.
