Abstract: According to aspects of postural comfort, forward vision, steering wheel location and driver’s headroom, the feasible H point is calculated based on multiple function area method. Optimization layout of off-road dump truck cab is presented in this paper. Considering the characteristic of our country driver’s dimension, this method avoids of the localization of H point in SAE standard. The design result is simulated and verified by digital human model. This method can improve the cab layout more flexible and convenience.
