Abstract: |
Basing on the finite element and nonlinear finite element, the car collision was analyzed in this paper. The effect of the approaching speed on the collision deceleration of the car was studied by changing the approaching speed. The analysis of absorbed energy characteristic of two cars collision with different approaching speeds also studied in this paper. The result of simulation indicated, with the increasing of the approaching speed, the collision deceleration of the car body increased, what’s more, the amplitude of the collision deceleration also increased, and the bigger car absorbed less energy than the middle-sized one during the collision of the two cars.
