Abstract: Some typical methods of human error taxonomy are surveyed. Firstly the definition of the human error was discussed. Seconded based on the development of human error, the human error taxonomies were classified two: method based on engineering and method based on cognitive model. And then two typical methods are chosen from the first methods for comparison and review. Their basic characters and limitations are discussed. Thirdly, several typical methods of the second are analyzed in detail. The comparison between the above and the preceding methods are carried out while their advantages and drawbacks are presented. Finally, further researches suggestion are proposed, as well as the difficulties and challenges.
