Abstract: Objective Analyzing the communicable diseases emergency monitoring in Hanyuan County after 5.12 Wenchuan earthquake to explore the way of communicable diseases emergency monitoring for temporary shelters in serious natural disasters. Methods Investigation the health status of residents in temporary shelters of Fulin to know incidence of communicable diseases for residents. The results Among the symptomatic residents, the proportion of 10 years of age and 60 years old age group was high, respectively 38.71% and 22.58%. Conclusion The emergency monitoring work requires various departments coordinating, and more appropriate control action should be taken.
