Abstract: The resource constrained scheduling problem under emergency situations is studied. The resource shortage is very popular when emergency happened, which requires us to find an acceptable solution as easy as possible. Scheduling problem of two paralleling activities with floats in a CPM network is studied in this paper. The order optimization method--Barycenter method is developed, which is extended to solve the order optimization of two activities among n paralleling ones.
