Abstract: Our society has become more risky since unexpected events have been occurring more frequently. Schools are no exception. Teaching buildings are often densely populated, so it becomes very important that people get evacuated as quickly as possible in case of emergency. This paper studies the mathematical model of the middle schools’ evacuation. Based on the model, some suggestions are put forward to a quicker way of evacuation in case of emergency.
