Abstract: Based on the tourism industry fundamentals of post-crisis and the explanation of the theory, this paper discusses the explanation ability of tourism fundamentals to recovery cycle of after-disaster tourism in terms of its industrial scale, quality and the anti-crisis ability. Then taking the after-earthquake tourism in Wenchuan county of Sichuan province as example, the paper adopts the basic index of tourism development from January to December in 2008 to analyze the fundamentals of after-disaster tourism in Sichuan province, and deduces the recovery cycle of Sichuan’s after-disaster tourism.
