Abstract: The primary goal of this paper is to survey how construction enterprises precaution risks during the process of engineering contract execution. The author suggests that in construction enterprises a special department of legal affairs should be set up and legal counsels should be standing posts. It is indispensable for construction enterprises to complete a system of contracts management, adopt rigor measures for engineering, and build an information management platform. In addition, construction enterprises need to have an awareness of contracts implementation, management of project site, and administration of project licenses. Once there happened extension of work period, contract value adjustments, or designs alternation, contractors must ask clients for written notes about those. Contractors have to submit reports about quantity of finished engineering to client or engineering supervision companies in the contract period, then, contractors should call clients or engineering supervision companies for giving receipts after they receive reports. When the construction is finished contractors must submit complete acceptance report to clients and request clients to sign it. After complete acceptance contractors should submit final account for completed engineering to clients, in the meanwhile clients should also give receipts for it. If clients did not approve these reports after they receive them, it would be regarded as approval of clients until expiration. Once clients refuse to receive these reports, contractors can submit them to client by the way of notarization. Furthermore, construction enterprises should take focus on supplementary agreement and conference summary. At last, compensation priority of contract value should not be ignored by construction enterprises. And also the precaution of construction contracts is useful for the development of regional economy.
