Abstract: Abstract: Nowadays, a great variety of construction project management modes are very likely to be confusing. In this paper, transaction mode which includes contract mode and management mode is classified involving in the process of construction project transaction firstly. Secondly, each type of transaction mode is compared and analyzed concerning the scope of application, the characteristic of management, general effectiveness and so on. This analysis is helpful to practitioners to understand and apply the construction project transaction modes.
