Abstract: Abstract: According to the situation that ground collapse accidents induced by pipeline leakage water happen frequently in urban tunneling, a systematic study was conducted on internal mechanism and control technology of ground collapse accidents induced by pipeline leakage water. Based on the analysis of the typical accidents, the results that ground collapses induced by pipeline leakage water in urban tunneling have the marked features of abruptness, complexity, high harmfulness and so on is pointed out. On the basis of pipeline deformation theory under the influence of tunneling combining with actual characteristics of water supply and drainage pipeline, the technical difficulty of investigations of pipeline status and safety evaluation were clarified, and the internal mechanism of ground collapse accidents induced by pipeline leakage water was made known. Further more, technical measures to prevent pipeline from leakage water and to guarantee pipeline safety in urban tunneling were put forward. Research results have important reference value to avoid and control ground collapse accidents induced by pipeline leakage water in urban tunneling effectively.
