Abstract: Abstract: Based on the data of 1986-2005, this paper analyses the determinants of FDI in services in China by ridge regression. The study shows that FDI in services is positively related to openness of service, FDI in manufactures, market scale, basic infrastructure and labor cost of services. FDI in services is not related to human capital and development level of services. Lastly this paper puts forwards some suggestions.
