Abstract: Abstract: This paper proposes a novel approach to address fuzzy multicriteria decision making (FMCDM) through the integration of grey relation analysis and interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy set (IIFS) theory. First, interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy positive ideal solution (IIFPIS) and interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy negative ideal solution (IIFNIS) are defined by using the union and intersection of IIFSs. Then, according to the principle of TOPSIS, a closeness coefficient is defined to order all alternatives by calculating the grey relational degree to both IIFPIS and IIFNIS, which is to extend the TOPSIS and grey relation analysis for solving FMCDM problems. Finally, an example shows that the method is valid and correct.
