Abstract: Abstract: Agricultural development pattern in East China is different from other regions. This paper uses the method of data envelopment analysis (DEA) to analyze the agricultural productivity efficiency of the 12 provinces and cities in East china. This is aiming at assessing the sample's total efficiency, technical efficiency and scale efficiency, and then studying the optimal allocation of resources for ineffective units. The conclusions and suggestions have a great of referenced values for China agricultural sustainable development.
