Abstract: Abstract: There was high performance work system (HPWS) in the company, but the operation not always achieved expected effect which could improve performance. The aim of this paper was to prove the implemented situation of HPWS by distinguishing the differences between intended and perceived HPWS. Data was collected from the employees who were classified by the level of position in NC Company. The results found that there were significant differences between the staff which in base and which in middle-high in strictly recruitment and selection, employee participation, information sharing, internal labor market, for which the paper analyze the reasons.
