Abstract: Abstract: The SMEs have played very important roles in the world economic growth. Especially in United States, the SMEs’ roles are obviously outstanding. This paper has done some research work on the SMEs’ abilities of solving United States’ employment problems. First of all, it analyzes the overall employment situation of United States. And then it makes in-depth analysis on the abilities of SMEs in providing employment opportunities and easing employment pressures from industry distribution and area distribution two aspects, then reveals the SMEs’ outstanding contributions to the whole society. Finally this paper gives some enlightments on promoting the roles of SMEs in solving China's employment problem.
