Abstract: Abstract: Based on case analysis of a world leading Auction Company, the paper reveals the major challenges for successful organizations to undertake proactive strategic change. Taking the existing process view and content view of organizational change theories as the major theoretical point of departure, the paper argues that, being a successful organization to initiate strategic change, the organization should follow a specific process consists of changes for all the organizational life elements. It is thereby the aim of the paper to provide a prescriptive process model to give guidance on managerial change actions aiming at passing through a successful organizational change phase.
