Abstract: Abstract: In recent years, M&A events of accounting firms are more frequent in China. However, from 2003 to 2008 in terms of data analysis, their domestic market share has declined year by year. The merger did not result in competitive advantage. An important reason was that firms failed to effectively identify and manage the core competitiveness. This paper presents an accounting firm core competitiveness index system. The paper will analyze firm M&A cases by the Multi-Agent System model. The paper attempts to obtain the identification of core competitiveness when accounting firms merger. This method is expected to have practical guiding significance for accounting firm raising the core competitiveness by M&A.
