Abstract: Abstract: This paper analyzed a method for selecting e-government maintenance outsourcing vendor. Vendor selection of e-government maintenance is an important problem as the performance of e-government system is directly affected by the vendor. Vendor selection of e-government maintenance outsourcing is a complex multi-person, multi-criteria decision problem and many different vendor selection models have been published. In particular, the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) technique is used as a managerial decision support system to select the best alternative between different outsourcing vendors in terms of maintenance services. This paper examines the mix of e-government maintenance outsourcing vendors’ services entering into the selection decision. Considering differences in practice based on the social role of government, the results indicate that the corporate reputation, management cost, services consistently, and electronic data transmission quality are rated higher ratings of importance. Then, an AHP-based model is formulated. Finally, the results from the application and testing of this method within a case study are summarized and used to help derive conclusions regarding the validity of the research.
