Abstract: Abstract: Along with the market of Chinese automobile growing rapidly, the car fleet volume is increasing continuously, and the exchanges of the secondhand automobile is increasing as well. In the exchanging processes, customers need to get the information about the automobiles they want to buy in order to guarantee they could get the products which are in good quality and at low price. Internet is the best way to get the information. At present, the information about the secondhand automobiles is all from the seller and the secondhand automobile trade company. It makes the buyer hard to distinguish the information. It is not good for ensuring the price of the automobile. All of these restrict the exchange of the secondhand automobile. For making the information open and clear, building the customers’ confidence and ensuring the market of the secondhand automobile developing well, China carries on some correlative terms and conditions. They do not have any specific rules about the automobile information which are most cared by customers. This paper analyzes the necessity of the building an automobile information platform in China. It reveals that the automobile information platform could offer the source and publishing method of all kinds of information. It also reveals what kind of information should the history book of the automobile for the buyer of the secondhand automobile contain. It views the application foreground of the automobile information platform.
