Abstract: Abstract: Knowledge management of the organization has become increasingly important in the knowledge- based society today. This article serves the purpose of illustrating what is knowledge management and what knowledge management can efficiently create as competitive advantage. In this paper, several strategies for knowledge management are proposed which include appointing chief knowledge officer, establishing knowledge-center, constitute mechanism to improve innovation capacity, applying increasing returns theory, and building knowledge alliance. A successful case in knowledge management, Xerox Corporation Case, is cited at the end of the paper. The case show that creating a knowledge-sharing culture is crucial to success of Xerox. This paper is hoped to provide correlative reference for enterprises to complement knowledge management helpfully.
