Abstract: Abstract: Health inequality exists universally between countries and within a country. Since the policies of reform and opening up in China, great progresses have been achieved in fields of medical health. However, uneven health investments across regions and between rural and urban areas with corresponding imbalanced health outcomes become quite big problems. Keeping eyes on these disproportional phenomena and analyzing their impacts on economic growth have practical significance. This paper advocates achieving social equity and benign economic growth by promoting health equality.
