Abstract: Abstract: Although the relationship between bank ownership and performance is the current focus of much research, this paper investigates the relationship between ownership and the prudential behavior of banks. Using Chinese and foreign banks data, we show the difference of the private banks in different domains. At last, the article is focused on the scale of the customers in Chinese Private Bank and their financial demands, and canalized the legal environment.
