Abstract: Cargos have increased year by year, which lead to the risk in materials transport process caused by the nature of the goods, man-made factors, and natural factors and so on. This risk not only caused the loss of the goods, but also impacted on the people’s production and life. Therefore, the risk management of materials transport is particularly important. It contributed to eliminating and reducing the risk of accidents opportunities through the risk management. At present, some researchers have carried out a great deal of researches for this problem. This paper aims to present a comprehensive review on the research advances in risk management of materials transport.
