Abstract: Abstract: With the social and economic development, the scale of logistics increases rapidly, and the operation pattern is gradually diversifying. In order to make the essential characteristics of logistics clear and provide theoretical support for logistics practice, this paper studies the operation mechanism from driving force and resistance force of logistics starting from the practical form and basic operation characteristic of modern logistics. On this basis, the operation model of logistics is established to describe the logistics process. The research results show that the operation mechanism and model of logistics can effectively reveal the basic characteristics of logistics activities. It can be applied to logistics planning, logistics program design and other logistics practical activities, in order to provide reference for decision-making and optimizing the logistics system.
