Abstract: Abstract: Value engineering is a thinking approach of serving functions or reducing cost in a system. Accordingly, we may use value engineering theory to analyze function of an industrial value chain and cost. Establishing the object of Value, analyzing chain function, and measuring cost and value coefficient should be main content of VE. Basing on VE, the way we improve industrial value chain should be adopted as follows: core firms be object of Value Analysis in industrial Value Chain, and enhancing the price is very helpful, reducing the cost of the industrial chain should be an important way of improving value of the industrial chain, and coordinating balance in value allocation to bring down risk cost of industrial value chain.
