Abstract: Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are a significant technology attracting considerable research interest in recent years. Sensor localization is one of the key technologies in wireless sensor network. In this paper, we proposed an new range-free node localization algorithm, which is an improved DV-hop algorithm based on weighted disposal. A new weight function was designed for anchor sensor. And a new estimation of average one-hop distance was proposed. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can obtain the accurate position of non-anchor sensors effectively without increasing hardware consumption in nodes.
