Abstract: A car safety monitoring system based on CAN bus is introduced. The system use ARM9 S3C2410AL as the main controller, and external a USB_CAN adapter card as the core is C8051F340 which responsible for collecting data from the sensor. The main controller system receive all kinds of test data, fault information and treatment outcome, etc from the subsystem, and is responsible for handling and control system of information. The system of field data communication is real-time and reliable which greatly save and simplify auto wiring system, and have a good application prospect.
